Legal 500
First published in 1988, The Legal 500 has developed into the largest and most in-depth survey of the UK legal market. They analyse the practices of more than 1,000 law firms. Understanding the firms is only one aspect of the research process. Ultimately, it is the clients’ opinions that matter; the 75,000 or so references taken up this year are a vital component of the evaluation of the various legal markets covered in the guide. Marsons Solicitors have appeared regularly in the Legal 500 tables and are currently listed for our Personal Injury services in the 2024 guide.
Lexcel
Lexcel is the Law Society’s Practice Management Standard. This is only awarded to solicitors who meet the highest management and customer care standard. Lexcel accredited practices undergo rigorous independent assessment every year to ensure that they meet the required standard of excellence in areas such as client care, case management and risk management. Marsons Solicitors have had the Lexcel award since 2011. Prior to this we had the ISO 9000 and 9002 awards.
Personal Injury Accreditation
The Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme covers all work undertaken by solicitors on behalf of victims and their dependents as to their rights arising out of any alleged act of negligence or breach of statutory duty as a result of which the victim has substantial personal or fatal injuries. The expertise of scheme members has been verified and their accomplishment is recognised by the Law Society. Marsons Solicitors have been a member of the scheme since 1997.
Conveyancing Quality Scheme
The Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS) provides a recognised quality standard for residential conveyancing practices. Membership achievement establishes a level of credibility for members firms with stakeholders including regulators, lenders, insurers and clients. Member firms are assessed annually. Marsons Solicitors have been a member since 2013.
