Buying a new build property from a large developer is very different from buying an existing property from an individual. Many new build properties are sold “off plan”during the construction stage with buyers often having only seen the show home.Unlike most solicitors, we are very familiar with the concept and have helped thousands of happy clients buy their new build property.

We are regularly recommended by developers so we may already have acted on the purchase of other properties on the development where you are buying. You can benefit from our existing knowledge of the site and the contractual documentation and our longstanding professional relationship with the developer and its solicitors. The developer may give you incentives to buy but they will impose a tight deadline to exchange contractsand our experience really helps to get this done in time and our relationship with the developers and their solicitors means we can usually persuade them to agree extensions to the time allowed for good reason.
